Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) uses an online registration system for all the amazing camps, classes, and programs available to you and your family. To register for PP&R activities, you'll first need to create an online account for each member of your household.

Access Discount Program

Thanks to theParks Local Option Levy,Portland residents can get a discount on program and activity fees. Use the discount for community center and pool admission, preschool and after-school programs, classes, camps, swim lessons, and more.

To get a discount, first register for the Access Discount Program, select a discount amount, and then use it for select activities. No proof of income is required. Discount is valid for 12 months from registration date. Go to any community or arts center for more information about how to register.

Choose a discount: 25, 50, 75, or 90%

Registration Schedule

Register online, over the phone through the Customer Service Center (503-823-2525), or by calling or visiting a recreation or arts center.

  • Summer programs are in progress and open for enrollment through September 29.
  • Fall programs open for registration on the following dates:
    • Tuesday, September 10 beginning at 9:30am. Register for classes and programs that take place September 30 - November 3.
    • Thursday, October 10 beginning at 9:30am. Register for classes and programs that take place November 4 - January 5 including winter break camps.

Early Registration Pilot Program: This pilot has ended. PP&R continues to work with community groups and the public to help new users by giving them information, setting up accounts, and offering assistance when they need it. Visit the Project Connect webpage to learn more about how PP&R provides different ways to bring the community and services together.

Portland Parks & Recreation community centers and pools are open for drop-in activities including swimming, fitness, open gym, indoor park, open skate andTeenForceprograms.

PP&R also offers a variety of registered activities for you to sign up to participate in. Registered activities include swim lessons, sports, art classes, music lessons, school break camps, Adaptive & Inclusive Recreation programs, and Lifelong Recreation activities, and more.

Register for Activities

Once you have an account and have selected your activities, you may register online, in person, or by phone.

  • Register online
  • Register in person at community centers, arts centers, the Portland Tennis Center, and the Portland Building.
  • Register by phone. Call the PP&R Customer Service Center at 503-823-2525.

ADA and Language Access Accommodation Options

Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) believes that recreation is for everyone. These accommodation options aim to provide meaningful access to PP&R services and activities.

To Register:

ADA (Title II) accommodations and Language Access (Title VI) interpretation for activity registration are available through thePDX 311system.Click here for more information about PDX311.
PDX 311 is available 7 days a week, 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. excluding federal holidays.

  • To request Language Access accommodation for the registration process, call 3-1-1, call 503-823-4000 outside Multnomah County or VOIP, or email311@portlandoregon.gov. Translations services are available. You will receive a response within three days.

To Participate:

ADA (Title II) accommodations to participate in registered activities are available through inclusion services after you have registered in an activity or class.Requests should be submitted at least 10 days before the start of the class.   • For swim lessons, contact the pool where the lesson takes place. Ask for the lead instructor or pool manager.
