4TH QUARTER UPDATES
-Turnover on downs! Hoover got nine yards on fourth down when they needed 10, and that’ll do it. Spain Park is gonna hang on to knock off Hoover 39-37!
- Hoover will start from their own 20-yard line after a touchback.
- Touchdown Spain Park! WOW! Junior Corey Barber just made a circus catch right over the head of his defender to put the Jaguars ahead with 50 seconds left. Extra point was blocked (again) so it’s 39-37 Spain Park. Hoover still has one timeout.
- Touchdown Hoover! Back and forth we go — Hoover responds with a five-play, 59-yard drive capped with a nine-yard run from AJ Allen. It’s 37-33 Hoover over Spain Park with 2:29 to go.
- Touchdown Spain Park! Brock Bradley hit tight end Connor Greb for a 38-yard pass down the sideline to set up a two-yard touchdown run for Dakarai Shanks. It's Spain Park 33, Hoover 30 with 4:11 left in the game.
- Hoover field goal! The Bucs couldn’t get in the end zone, but James Bryant drilled a 45-yard field goal to give Hoover the 30-27 lead with 5:59 left in the ballgame.
- The two teams have traded possessions, but it's Hoover that has the ball and knocking on the door of the red zone as we hit the 6:30 mark in the fourth quarter.
- Touchdown Hoover! Beason tosses and 13-yard touchdown pass, then converts the 2-point conversion. We’re all tied at 27-27 with 10:38 left in the game.
3RD QUARTER UPDATES
- We've reached the end of the third quarter. It's 27-19 Spain Park as we head to the fourth, but Hoover has the ball deep in Jaguar territory.
- Touchdown Hoover! Jacorrey Hayes gets the short touchdown run to cap a huge drive for the Bucs. It’s Spain Park 27, Hoover 19 with 2:44 left in the third quarter.
- Touchdown Spain Park! Hoover was driving deep into their territory, but the Jaguars got a pick-six from Payton Wood after a pass deflection. It's 27-12 Spain Park with 5:37 left in the third quarter.
- We're underway in this second half. The Jaguars will start from their own 27-yard line.
2ND QUARTER UPDATES
- We’ve hit the halftime mark. Spain Park will get the ball to start the second half.
- Spain Park just had a 97-yard kick return called back for a block in the back. They’ll start from their own 25-yard line instead with 4:04 to go to the half.
- Touchdown Hoover! The Bucs responded with a long drive capped with a one-yard run from Jabari Mosley, Jr. The extra point was blocked. It’s 20-12 Spain Park with a little more than four minutes left in the first half.
- Touchdown Spain Park! Bradley hit Corey Barber on a short pass over the middle for an 87-yard touchdown pass. The extra point was blocked, so it’s 20-6 Spain Park with 9:29 left in the first half.
- Spain Park got another stop to start the second quarter, and Hoover had to punt. Spain Park will take over at their own 10-yard line with 10:18 left in the second quarter.
1ST QUARTER UPDATES
- Touchdown Jaguars! Bradley found sophom*ore Connor Greb on a wheel route all alone by himself for an easy 16-yard touchdown pass and catch. It’s 14-6 Spain Park in the final moments of the first quarter.

- Hoover turnover! The Buccaneers muffed a sky kick on the ensuing kickoff and the Jags recover. They’ll get the ball at the Hoover 21-yard line with 1:14 left in the quarter.
- Touchdown Jaguars! Spain Park quarterback Brock Bradley connected with C.J. Cowley for a 50-yard gain deep into Hoover territory, then found him again for a 15-yard touchdown pass. Extra point is good. Huge answer from the Jags there. They lead Hoover 7-6.

- Hoover turnover! Aden Walker gets the strip sack for Spain Park and the Jags recover. It’s still 6-0 Hoover with 4:45 left in the first quarter.
- Nothing doing for Spain Park on their opening possession. They punted it back to Hoover. The Bucs are working from their own 40 with 6:27 left in the first quarter.
- Touchdown Hoover! Avery Crawford got behind all 11 defenders and Mac Beason didn’t miss him on a 47-yard touchdown pass. The extra point was no good. It’s 6-0 Hoover with 8:02 left in the first quarter.
